Something for everyone….camping, boating, fishing, swimming and hiking all surrounded by nature’s beauty of fields, forest and wetlands.

The Setting

• The park is spacious, home to a large variety of flora and fauna.
• Robert Moses State Park is located partly on the mainland and partly on Barnhart Island. Visitors reach the park through a tunnel under the Eisenhower Lock. Large ships frequently go through the locks.
• There is good fishing in the St. Lawrence River which the Park is located on.

The Facility

This park offers 212 campsites (133 are electric). Also, 15 cabins that can accommodate 4-people. Includes bathroom with shower and living room. Rented Sat. to Sat. during peak.

Camping Tips

Firewood can be purchased at the Main Office.
Pets must have proof of rabies inoculation, and are required to be on at least a 6ft leash or caged.
Cabin patrons must supply there own bed/bath linen and kitchen utensils.

Other Features

The Park Nature Center also offers holiday, special events and school outreach programs. The parks nature, hiking and cross-country skiing trails wind through fields, forests and wetlands, with overlooks showcasing spectacular views. In the winter, the park also welcomes snowmobilers.
