Pearl Hill's campground is nestled in a pine forest and has 51 of the largest and most private campsites in Massachusetts. The area offers miles of hiking trails, swimming opportunities and great antiquing!
The Setting
Pearl Hill State Park, voted one of the top 100 Family Campgrounds in 2005, covers 1000 acres and 51 seasonal campsites, now served by a new bathhouse with toilets and showers. Enjoy swimming, fishing and hiking through a varied terrain of hilly forest and beaver habitat. The day use area includes a five-acre pond created by the seasonal damming of Pearl Hill Brook, with a beach area on the pond.
The Facility
Include provide picnic tables and fire places as well as access to swimming, hiking, fishing, birding and more. Pearl Hill has 51 spacious campsites, flush toilets and showers. No hookups at either facility.
Park Features
Nearby Nashua River Rail Trail offers 11 ½ miles of 10-foot wide paved surface, and a five-foot wide gravel equestrian path for seven miles of the trail. The entire trail is open to pedestrians, bicyclists, skaters, wheelchairs, and cross-country skiers and offers numerous scenic overlooks and opportunities to see wildlife.
