The Setting

Located near Sardis, Mississippi, John W. Kyle State Park offers a unique variety of recreational opportunities in a scenic setting of natural beauty. The park’s main attraction, Sardis Lake, is well known throughout the region for its outstanding bass and crappie fishing. The 58,500-acre lake is equally popular with boating and skiing enthusiasts. Guests can also enjoy basketball, volleyball and other indoor sports activities at the park’s spacious recreational complex. Lighted tennis courts are also available.

The Facility

Accommodations include 20 guest cabins, a group camp and a 200-pad main campground, one of the largest campgrounds in the Mississippi State Park system. The park also provides meeting and banquet facilities, two playgrounds, two amphitheaters, a chapel and a souvenir shop. Mallard Pointe Golf Course, the championship 18-hole course, features striking elevation changes. Also included is a large driving range and putting green in addition to a practice course.
