of the Appalachian Mountains, Greenbo Lake is
an angler's paradise!
The Facility
Enjoy the great outdoors at the Greenbo Lake campground
featuring 63 sites with utility hook ups and 35
primitive sites. Two dumping stations, two central
service buildings with showers and rest rooms,
and a grocery store guarantee camping convenience.
A community swimming pool is sure to be a hit
with both adults and children in searching for
ways to beat the summer heat. Kids love the water
slide and the children's area with a rain tree.
Park Features
- 225-acre impoundment offers both scenic
beauty as well as some of the state's best fishing.
Anglers can cast for catfish, crappie, bass and
bluegill. Greenbo Lake has an annual stocking
of 15,000 Rainbow Trout and is the home of two
state record Largemouth Bass.
- A full service marina with rental pontoons,
fishing boats, and canoes provide any visitor
with the opportunity to enjoy these crystal clear
waters. Greenbo Lake provides a no-wake atmosphere
for the quietest of anglers who don't want to
spook the fish.
- For those patrons that have their own craft,
overnight dockage is welcome.

- The lodge has a 232-seat dining room open
for breakfast, lunch, and dinner year-round
- 18-hole miniature golf course in the camping
area, open April - October

Getting There
Greenbo Lake is on KY 1711, four miles west of
KY 1, 18 miles north of I-64 from the Grayson
exit. Coming from the Huntington area traveling
west on I-64 take the Industrial park exit (RT
67), drive approximately 8 miles to the RT 207
exit, take a left onto 207, drive 3 miles to RT.
1 take a left and travel approximately 5 miles
to the park entrance which is 1711.
