Clarkco State Park – A Favorite Mississippi Recreation Spot.
The Setting
Clarkco is the ideal setting for experiencing Mississippi’s rich natural beauty. Extensive self-guided trails wind through the varied topography of the scenic forest, which is home to three state record trees. It is also home to a plentiful population of whitetail deer and other wildlife. A five-mile mountain biking trail gives visitors yet another way to experience Clarkco’s unique beauty.
The Facility
The park’s 65-acre lake offers excellent fishing, as well as swimming and waterskiing. Rental fishing boats are available for Clarkco’s guests to enjoy.
Camping accommodations include 43 improved pads, 15 primitive pads and 20 cabins with individual piers. For its guests’ convenience, Clarkco provides a bathhouse, laundry facilities and a visitor’s center with camp store and meeting rooms.
